I was born in 1967 and grew up in the southwest suburbs of Chicago.
In 1985 I graduated from high school and had two career choices on my list. I loved them both and had to make a choice.
The first one was to study music and become a rock star and tour around the country on a plane or a van. The second was to become a photographer.
I chose to become a photographer because I thought being a musician maybe a hard way to earn a living ,so I chose something "safe" like photography. Little did I know at the time that photographers get to travel around the country in planes and vans as well!
